Step back from the daily grind and immerse yourself in a nurturing environment dedicated to your personal and professional growth.

This is your chance to get out of autopilot, take control and find ways to better handle stress so you can thrive.

Over the course of 5 days, you will:

  • Engage in both energising and restorative yoga practices to connect with your body, gain mental focus and clarity.
  • Gain insight into your personal resilience profile, pinpointing what’s getting in the way of you showing up at your best.
  • Have a 1:1 coaching session with a trained psychologist to help you map out a personal roadmap to improvement aligned to your needs
  • Learn strategies from positive psychology to help you build a resilient mindset and manage your emotions.
  • Create a focused action plan to build long lasting habits to support you after the retreat
  • Connect with like-minded individuals
  • Relax and rejuvenate amidst nature and by the pool
  • Savour nourishing, organic food grown on the land

We like to keep our group size small for more personalised support and connection, therefore our maximum is 14 people.

Because of the intimate setting, in the yoga classes, there is time and space to tailor the practice to your individual needs and level.

  • 1:1 AURA debrief and coaching session with trained psychologist to walk through your personal AURA report, deepen your understanding of your stress response patterns & how to navigate
  • Group workshops to learn tools and techniques to manage stress, prevent burnout and find small ways to help you thrive and be the best version of yourself
  • 8 x yoga classes in the magical 70 sq metre Pagoda with panoramic views of nature - a mix of Restorative and Hatha Yoga, led by a sought after teacher from Hong Kong, Marah Arcilla. Open to all levels.
  • All yoga equipment & props provided - you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer
  • Access to AURA Resilience Resources - an online resource hub to ensure you keep your levels of resilience boosted

What's included

Rooms

Quinta Marugo offers 10 elegant and comfortable rooms with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. The 360-degree position of the building allows for both a variety of scenic vistas and/or private courtyards.  

All rooms have their own bathroom and outside entrance under protective porticos to enjoy sitting outside during the warm and balmy days and evenings of the Alentejo.

Food

Food served is vegetarian and 90% seasonal and local within the Iberian Peninsula. Most of our food is sourced from our own vegetable gardens, bee hives, tea trees/bushes/flowers and olive trees, which are organic and follow permaculture principles of giving back to nature. We have agreements with organic farmers in the area to source from them when needed.

We make our own home made breads and baked goods and we aim for no refined sugar baked goods.

We cater towards allergies such as gluten, nuts, etc. Just let us know in advance
