My purpose is to give support to you as a leader to reconnect with your inner resources, wisdom, compassion and power.

For 13 years, MaryAnn has held different senior leadership marketing roles in a Fortune 500 company.

In 2010 she founded and successfully ran her own consulting company in Hong Kong focused on transformational change for leaders in Multinational Corporations through executive coaching, bespoke human centric leadership programs, mindfulness training and resilience.

Her client list includes Marriott, Schindler, Fidelity, Accenture, Microsoft, Citi and PVH among others.

Since 2017 she teaches mindfulness and compassionate practices for leaders to connect to their purpose and develop a human centric leadership style that focuses on personal and team wellbeing in order to achieve sustainable results.

In 2019 she moved to Portugal to create a land and people regeneration retreat center, Quinta Marugo, with the mission of bringing more peace, clarity and connection and therefore results, in the corporate world.

She is a certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness Based Compassionate Living (MBCL), QiGong supervisor, executive coach and Transformational Breath coach.

She strongly believes leaders need to find time for deep pauses to retreat so they can reconnect with what is important for them, stop and get off the the busy being busy hamster wheel they are on (often times without realizing it). This way they can feel regenerated and reenergised to return to their roles as inspiring beacons with a purpose driven mindset and focus on wellbeing.

What's included

Rooms

Quinta Marugo offers 10 elegant and comfortable rooms with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. The 360-degree position of the building allows for both a variety of scenic vistas and/or private courtyards.

All rooms have their own bathroom and outside entrance under protective porticos to enjoy sitting outside during the warm and balmy days and evenings of the Alentejo.

Food

Food served is vegetarian and 90% seasonal and local within the Iberian Peninsula. Most of our food is sourced from our own vegetable gardens, bee hives, tea trees/bushes/flowers and olive trees, which are organic and follow permaculture principles of giving back to nature. We have agreements with organic farmers in the area to source from them when needed.

We make our own home made breads and baked goods and we aim for no refined sugar baked goods.

We cater towards allergies such as gluten, nuts, etc. Just let us know in advance

Deposit policy
We require a 50% deposit in order to secure your space. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable if paid less than thirty (30) days before the beginning of the retreat.
The rest of the 50% is to be paid seven (7) days before the beginning of the retreat. Remainder payments are non-transferable and non-refundable. If we don't receive your remainder payments on time as outlined above, we reserve the right to open your reservation to another person.

What is not included:
Flight and transfer to Quinta Marugo, in Serpa.
